Moored in Edinburgh’s historic Port of Leith, Fingal offers a wedding setting that is elegant, distinctive, and entirely self-contained. Formerly a Northern Lighthouse Board vessel, it has been transformed into a luxury floating hotel that combines maritime heritage with contemporary design. A wedding aboard Fingal feels intimate and refined, with the added romance of being gently separated from the city while still very much part of it.

The interiors are beautifully considered, blending nautical references with clean, modern finishes. Polished wood, brass details, and soft lighting create a sense of calm sophistication that runs throughout the ship. From a photographic perspective, Fingal is a joy to work in. The spaces are well proportioned, the light is flattering, and the design enhances rather than competes with the people within it. Images here tend to feel elegant and timeless, with a strong sense of place that never overwhelms the story.
